GSM-4气体混合器可从任何四种输入气体中生成定制的气体混合物。混合物的定义是总流量，以及每种气体的百分比浓度。计算出每种气体的最终流量，并显示在LCD显示屏上。可以在GSM-4上本地存储四种用户定义的混合物，并用一个按钮打开/关闭。使用提供的GSM-4-CommVS软件，可以在计算机上保存任意数量的混合物，并在需要时调用。GSM-4可单独通过前面板控制装置操作，也可通过随附的软件控制(见下文)。每个GSM-4都定制了最适合预期应用的流量控制器。

GSM-4-CommVS软件

该软件在Windows 7、10或更高版本上运行，并允许根据需要保存和加载用户定义的混合配置。这序列发生器使用简单的编程语言来执行定时协议。这些定时序列可以根据需要进行命名、存储和重复。这种能力消除了为特定实验方案手动切换气体混合物的需要。程序中的每一步都有一个时间和一个从下拉菜单中选择的功能。
